Laramie Plains Lakes
Just ten miles or so west from Laramie, a
series of lakes provides angling opportunities for a variety of fish from
Muskies to Rainbows. Bring your fly or spinning rod and take a try at
these lakes if you find yourself in Laramie. Bear in mind that wind is
almost always a factor when fishing these plains lakes

Meeboer and Gelatt Lakes
These lakes are smaller in size, 34
to 119 acres. They hold rainbow and sometimes other species of trout.

Lake Hattie and Twin
Buttes
Managed in part by the BLM, Lake Hattie/Twin
Buttes Reservoir have camping facilities and a boat launch. Rainbow
and brown trout can be found in the waters.
