Where to Fish
There are miles and miles of trout streams in
Wyoming, and thousands of lakes and reservoirs. Most of these areas offer
something for the angler, whether you're fishing for cutthroats or catfish.
Check for local regulations, and get permission to fish on private lands.
Wyoming doesn't have an official policy on
listing blue ribbon waters, so we've broken the fishing areas into two
pages:
You can also get some more information on
these areas and others from the
Wyoming
Game and Fish Commission or from
Wildernet.
If you know a good resource for a fishing locality not listed
on these pages, please send us an
e-mail and we'll add it to the list. That way, everyone will know about
it and it will get really crowded!
