Medicine Bow River
The Medicine Bow River starts in (guess
where?) the Medicine Bow Mountains, flowing north through, you guessed it,
the town of Medicine Bow. Here it turns northwest and ends its journey at
Seminoe Reservoir. The Little Medicine Bow actually starts in the Laramie
Range, flowing south to join the Medicine Bow River north of the
town.
The Medicine Bow River starts in Medicine
Bow-Routt National Forest land, but most of this river is on private land.
Access is possible on some ranches by obtaining permission. Be sure to
pick up a current Wyoming fishing regulations book, or check locally for
regs.
We have listed 2 access points for you here
and a few on the Little Medicine Bow
